Overnight Oats - Apple Pie, Blueberry Pie, Basic Brown Sugar and Peanut Butter Flavours

No time in the morning for breakfast but need an "out-the-door" solution?  Overnight Oats is the solution for you.  Save your empty glass peanut butter or jam jar and save yourself the plastic exposure.  We like to make it in bulk (6 or 8 jars) and leave them lined up in the cupboard for the morning when they're needed.

Recommended container is a 5-inch tall, wide-mouth glass reusable jar (usually an old jam or peanut butter container)

Basic Brown Sugar Spice Overnight Oats

For those who are new to Overnight Oats and are not interested in cutting fresh apples or dropping in blueberries, this one is for you.

Prepare your dry ingredients: 1/2 cup rolled oats, 2 tbsp ground flax, 2 tbsp chai seeds, 1/2 tsp brown sugar, 1/8 tsp nutmeg, 1/4 tsp cinnamon.  Seal and store until the night before they will be eaten.

Evening before, add your wet ingredients: fill with dairy-free milk to just cover oats.  Then shake and place overnight in the fridge.  In the morning, eat cold or enjoy warm (if you're like me and wait for it to come to room temperature)
